The Bottom Line

Here are three things we thought You Should Know today

1. Our rock star VPS – as we close in on year end, I can’t tell you how deeply impressed I am on the work our Peterson Capital VP team across Canada has accomplished this year.

Over some very tough markets, these four professionals have maintained strong and trusting relationships with our IA network from coast-to-coast. They’ve dug deep for clients who need extra help, who are fighting headwinds in the mid cap and small cap space, and who are still executing their businesses and pushing ahead. Our clients lean on Alexis, Bob, Rachael and David to help support their efforts, and work diligently with all of you reading this to make sure that our trusted relationship stays in place.

Anyone can do this in good markets. It’s in tough markets that the real stars shine. And these four have delivered – day in and day out – for all of our clients, and for their teammates at Peterson Capital. They are all-stars, ultimate professionals, and they form the core value that we offer to our clients in Canada. Nobody in Canada is better. Nobody.

2. Toronto reception December 7th – if you’re in Toronto on Thursday, December 7th and are free between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm, let us know. Rachael Singh and I are hosting a very informal Christmas reception in the lobby of One King West  and we’ll send you an invitation to drop by and say hello. Not sure whether Santa will be there or not, but we’ll definitely be serving up some Christmas cheer and look forward to introducing Rachael to those of you who haven’t met her yet.

3. The Bottom Line webcast – I’m launching a webcast platform that I’m pretty sure is going to be of interest to a number of you.

I’m calling it “The Bottom Line” and will be inviting one guest per session and we’ll do these every two or three weeks or so. I will be covering a wide range of topics in a fun, fast-moving and informative 45-minute session that will get to the Bottom Line on key issues that affect as all. These will be recorded and posted on the Peterson Capital website if you miss the live session.

First up will be Globe and Mail political columnist Andrew Coyne next Wednesday December 6th with insight into a number of global and national issues that are on the front burner these days. You’ll receive an email invitation and registration link this coming Friday morning – hope you can join us.

And if you have any thoughts of other potential guests, let me know.

Thank you for your continued interest and support.
