Peterson Capital Job Posting: Investor Relations Manager

About the Role:

PCIR is looking for an Investor Relations Manager to help create and manage effective content distribution for PCIR, and its publicly traded clients, gearing for an investor audience. This position can be based anywhere in Canada (remote work) and we are open to full-time or part-time work.

Candidates should have a university degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in capital markets.  Prospective candidates should be able to adapt to a variety of tasks and be willing to take on new challenges.  Ability to work effectively in both an independent and team environment are a must.  Multiple language skills, both written and spoken are an asset. The work will be dynamic involving a wide variety of responsibilities and duties, some of which are noted below.

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of capital markets and financial disclosure

  • Strong people skills to operate in a client-facing capacity with our public company executive team as well as their investors

  • Ability to quickly learn key aspects of a company and industry, and identify and gain knowledge of aspects of critical importance to the company, senior management, and the investment community

  • Highly proactive and self-motivated individual, with ability to operate well under minimal supervision, including effectively working remotely

  • Valued as a rounded strategic thinker with mature business acumen, and an excellent sense of judgment, with ability to operate in a highly fluid environment

  • Strong communication skills, high attention to accuracy and detail, a level of comfort with executive communications, and ability to collaborate, build and maintain relationships and a high level of trust

  • Performing standard investor relations and communications duties including marketing collateral creation, news release drafting, comfort working with investors and analysts, etc.

 To be successful in this role, you need to have a keen eye for detail, strong written skills (English), enjoy thinking creatively, work well both independently and as a team, and can drive initiatives on your own. Strong people skills and an enthusiastic and energetic energy will make you a natural fit in this role.

  • Logistics and scheduling coordination

  • Administrative support

  • Performing other duties as required
