Not Their First Rodeo
Here are three things we thought You Should Know this week:
1. Not their first rodeo: Mark down next Tuesday, May 16th in your calendar for a fast-paced, timely and compelling update on the Canadian energy sector from three experts who have been through numerous oil cycles. This is not their first rodeo.
Robert Seguin, our Managing Director of Europe, will kick off a 30-minute Zoom session at 4:30pm GMT for our London and European continent friends with Jeremy McCrea, Director of Energy Research at Raymond James, along with Paul Colborne, CEO of Surge Energy. Click here to register.
Alexis de la Renaudière, our Managing Director in Canada, will invite Paul to join him on a follow-up national Zoom call at 8:30am MST with Rafi Tahmazian, Senior Portfolio Manager with Canoe Financial. Click here to register.
These three guys - Jeremy, Rafi and Paul - are good. Very good. Don’t miss them.
2. London calling - I’m heading to London on May 15-18 to meet new capital markets colleagues who are interested in hearing more from us about Canada’s strongest growth companies. Know any fund managers, PMs, family offices I should call or meet up with?
3. Smack dab in the centre - Over the next few months I’ll be part of a small working group of friends looking into the possibility of forming a new federal political party in Canada that is smack dab in the centre of the political spectrum. We commissioned a national survey earlier this month that shows tremendous interest and support from coast to coast. Want to know more?Interested in helping with this summer project? Drop me a line.
Here’s our roadshow schedule next week:
If you’d like more details and want to connect with our VPs for any of these meetings, drop me a line.
Thank you so much for your continued support and interest.
